Architecture Systems & Technologies (AS&T) is a woman owned business incorporated August 2006. AS&T’s headquarters are located on the Gulf Coast in Mississippi.
The domain and management expertise of our key personnel includes extensive depth and breadth of Navy and Homeland Security experience, to include experience in Navy research, Total Ship Systems Engineering (TSSE) design and operational support and System of Systems Engineering. We will provide Seaport-e customers conceptual design studies, requirements development and analysis, and Design to Cost (DTC) assessment of warfare systems and force structures and their interoperability.
OPEN ARCHITECTURE INSERTION™ & PERFORM-TO-COST METHODOLOGIES™
Architecture Systems & Technologies (AS&T) shall utilize an integrated system engineering, architecture, and program management approach throughout the program’s life cycle. Where appropriate, AS&T shall insert “open system” requirements that will continually pursue common architectures across Seaporte customers’ platforms or capabilities.
AS&T utilizes a Perform-to-Cost™ (PTC) methodology by which the task order costs are controlled while maintaining specified performance capabilities. AS&T focuses requirements definition, validation, & verification at each level of program execution on “Open Architecture Insertion™, identifying components that can be developed using open architecture and/or open source technologies. Perform-To-Cost™ and Open Architecture Insertion™ reduces the rising cost of Naval warfare systems and platforms, increases the capabilities of Naval systems, incorporates more commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) technology in warfare systems, and enables reuse of software and related assets.
